I have recently been informed that I have won an eight day, all expenses paid trip to Abu Dhabi for two, by making the five finalists in my category with the following photograph;
During the eight days, the preparations for the 2011 Falconry Festival will be taking place, and the festival itself lasts for two days and is a huge event with artists, falconry experts, bird owners and the like gathering to witness a wide range of beautiful birds - such a great photo opportunity.
During the week, all entries shall be exhibited and the winner of each category shall be announced and awarded the £500 prize, however for me the real award is this once in a lifetime opportunity, so thankyou to all the organisers for allowing this to take place.
The festival is not until December, however I hope to keep you updated with any developments and news about the event and will post about the experience as soon as I return.
